DP-89- 18 <br /> Page Two <br /> 2. BUILDING DIVISION <br /> a. The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin <br /> Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be <br /> incorporated in the construction plans before submittal <br /> to the Building Inspection Division : <br /> ( 1 ) The proposed building shall be provided with an <br /> automatic fire sprinkler system or divided into <br /> areas less than 6 ,000 square feet by area <br /> separation walls . <br /> ( 2) Provide restrooms conforming with all disabled <br /> access requirements (C.A. C. , Title 24 ) . <br /> ( 3) The floor area of the repair shop (H-4 occupancy) <br /> shall be served by one or more floor drains which <br /> shall drain to an approved grease and oil <br /> separator . The separator shall have prior <br /> approval by the Local Health District before <br /> submission to this Division for permits and meet <br /> all the criteria for hazardous waste generation. <br /> b. A grading plan shall be submitted and approved and a <br /> grading permit issued by the Building Inspection <br /> Division prior to performing any excavation or filling <br /> of earth material : <br /> ( 1 ) A grading plan shall contain the information <br /> listed in the U.B .C. , Appendix , Chapter 70 , <br /> Section 7006(d ) . <br /> (2) The grading plan shall include complete drainage <br /> details and elevations of the adjacent parcels . <br /> Retaining wall details shall be submitted where <br /> applicable . <br /> ( 3) Grading in excess of 5 ,000 cubic yards shall <br /> comply with Section 7014 for "Engineered Grading <br /> Requirements . " <br /> (4) All recommendations of the soils engineer shall be <br /> incorporated in the grading plans . <br />
