�`a" Contact Water System UG-5-Removal Project — Stockton, CA Terminal <br /> 2 IFC 7/22/19 <br /> EXHIBIT `A' - -SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The work to be performed under these specifications shall include all work necessary for <br /> or incidental to constructing, installing, and testing all equipment and piping <br /> modifications required to replace-contact watertank, U&5 ; and-contact water transfer <br /> pump, P- 18A, with contact water sump, T-25, and (2) new contact water transfer pumps, <br /> P- 103 and P- 104, with associated new discharge piping. <br /> The new contact water sunip, ,pump, sensors, and controls shallbeinstalled_prior to. <br /> demolition of the old system. The existing contact water tank UG-5 will be abandoned in <br /> place. Contractor to schedule downtime with Shell prior to change over. <br /> Waste water piping must be properly isolated and drained before any construction takes <br /> place. Contractor shall coordinate with Owner' s representative to provide system <br /> isolation, =drain-the system, and recover-the product prior to equipment removal including <br /> vacuum truck service. <br /> The work shall include the following work and components including all associated <br /> equipment and materials not listed . <br /> In the quote, breakout costs for demolition/drain down as a separate line item . Include <br /> estimated construction duration. <br /> Mechanical Scope of Work <br /> ® Field walk the existing Rack Slop Tank pump and verify existing pump and <br /> .piping dimensions and take any additional measurements required for pipe <br /> spooling . <br /> • Before construction, shop spool as much of the piping as possible to minimize <br /> field welding and equipment downtime. <br /> ® Install contact water sump T-25 , contact water transfer_punips P-103 and P- 104 <br /> near the existing UG-5 tank as shown on drawings. <br /> • Remove P- 18A discharge piping up until tie-in point TP-01 and drain piping up to <br /> tie-in points TP-02 -and TP-03 as shown on drawings P=050 -and P=051 . <br /> • Install new discharge and drain piping spools per drawings P- 100 and P- 101 . <br /> • SC Field Technical Services shall install: the carbon emissions filter system, <br /> • I £ydrotest all new piping, <br /> • <br /> Remove the existing contact water transfer pump and motor P48A. <br /> • Abandon existing contact water tank UG-5 in place. <br /> o - Triple- clean-tank, <br /> o Have marine chemist verify the tank is clean. <br /> o Auer confirmation the tank is clean then fill-the tank with flowable Till <br /> slurry (low strength lean concrete) . <br /> Shell Pipeline Company LP Page 1 of 3 <br /> Exhibit "A " - scope of Work - Rev.
