# J <br /> Contact mater System UG-5 -Removal Project — Stockton; CA Terminal <br /> IFC 7/22/19 <br /> Electrical Scope of Work <br /> • Field walk the existing Rack Slop Tank pump motor P18A,-MCC STK8, and Flex <br /> I/O panel and verify existing information . <br /> • The work area is classified Class l -Div 2. All work-in hazardous (classified) areas <br /> shall follow the Shell site safety procedures and installation requirements. <br /> • .Perform demolition work as indicated in .drawing •E-13851 and E- 12967. <br /> Demolition work includes but is not limited tot <br /> I . Disconnection of power and control motor Wining at motor box. Wining, <br /> and conduit home runs shall not fully be demolished. New pumps and <br /> equipment are installed first- in-order-to -keep-dawntime short. <br /> 2 . Disconnect motor grounding conductor. <br /> 3 . Disconnect control wires for sensors. Wiring, and conduit home runs shall <br /> not be demolished. New pumps and equipment are installed first in order <br /> to keep downtime short. <br /> • Provide power and control to new pump motors as indicated in drawing E- 13851 , <br /> and E- 13339. Work includes but not limited to : <br /> I . Verify integrity of existing power and control wiring. Report any damage <br /> to Shell engineer. If wiring is damaged, replace it. <br /> 2. Contractor shall provide and install a new Class I Division 2 local-off- <br /> remote selector switch, and start-stop pushbutton station, and LED beacon <br /> running-light-for- each-of-the-new-7-. 5 -HP-pumps. <br /> 3 . Connect new motor grounding wire to the new motors . <br /> 4. Retrofit the existing, 5 HP starter to €eed the new 7 .5 HP pump. motor. <br /> Replace the existing circuit breaker and motor overload located inside the <br /> - existin&NEMA_I starter-as . required.-Provide-Owner.7's .representative with . <br /> product data for any equipment required to be replaced to retrofit the <br /> existing starter prior to installation. <br /> 5 . Install a new 7. 5HP starter to feed the second new THIP pump motor. <br /> 6 . Megger the existing pump motor home run feeder to confirm that the <br /> conductors are acceptable to reuse for the new pump motor and starter. <br /> Provide megger results to Owner's representative for ,approval prior to <br /> termination of-the new pump motor and starter. Extend existing power <br /> wiring and raceway as required to reach new motor location. <br /> 7 . Providenewhome run -feeder-to -second new 7 .5HP motor <br /> 8 . Provide all necessary miscellaneous material - required to provide a � <br /> complete electrical installation for this classified area. <br /> 9. Contractor shall install conduit and wiring in anticipation to intercept the <br /> existing power and control home runs from the existing MCC and Flex I/O <br /> Shell Pipeline Company LP Page 2 of 3 <br /> Exhibit "A " - Scope of Work - Rev.
