The residence has a basement which contained a furnace that was fueled by heating oil <br /> In addition, the basement also contained a domestic water well of unknown depth and <br /> completion, which will be abandoned in the near future <br /> The remaining buildings of the farm headquarters include a garage, a maintenance <br /> building, three small and somewhat dilapidated barns, a number of small animal shelters, <br /> and a pumphouse associated with the former agricultural cistern water well <br /> The garage was used by the tenants and was a single-story, two-car building constructed <br /> of masonry block on a concrete slab The interior of the garage was relatively clean and <br /> no observations of floor stains or evidence of chemical storage, or other noteworthy <br /> features were found A cornerstone on the building indicated that it was constructed in <br /> 1918 <br /> The maintenance building is somewhat dilapidated and is two-story wood-frame <br /> construction with a combination of concrete slab, wood plank, and steel plate floors The <br /> concrete and steel floors are situated within a relatively large garage area within the north- <br /> half of the building <br /> Three relatively small and dilapidated barns were located to the north, east, and south of <br /> the maintenance building The barns were generally vacant and appear to have been <br /> used for animal shelter In addition to equipment storage <br /> A metal-sided pumphouse was present dust northeasterly of the maintenance building The <br /> pump house was approximately 15 by 15 feet in plan view, and included a rotting wood <br /> beam and plank floor The wood floor boards of the building were removed and revealed <br /> a ten foot diameter and twenty foot deep cistern-type structure The walls of the cistern <br /> structure appeared to be cased by relatively old slip-form concrete Rubble and some <br /> wood debris was observed at the bottom of the cistern Older electrical panels were <br /> 08220010 011 10 <br />
