REVISED CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL <br /> SA-91-6 <br /> PAGE FOUR <br /> 1) Emissions generated during the construction process are <br /> of concern to the District. The following dust control <br /> practices shall be implemented: <br /> a) All material excavated or graded should be <br /> sufficiently watered to prevent excessive amount of <br /> dust. Watering should occur at least twice a day <br /> with complete coverage, preferably in the late <br /> morning and after work is done for the day. <br /> b) All clearing, grading, earth moving or excavation <br /> activities shall cease during periods of high winds <br /> greater than 20 mph averaged over one hour. <br /> C) All material transported off-site shall be either <br /> sufficiently watered or securely covered to prevent <br /> excessive amount of dust. <br /> d) The area disturbed by clearing, earth moving or <br /> excavation activities shall be minimized at all <br /> times. <br /> e) The developer shall mow instead of disking for weed <br /> control, thereby leaving the ground undisturbed and <br /> with a mulch covering. <br /> 2) After clearing, grading, earth moving, or excavation <br /> operations, fugitive dust emissions during the <br /> construction phase should be controlled by the following <br /> methods: <br /> a) All inactive portions of the construction site shall , <br /> be seeded and watered until grass growth is evident. <br /> b) All active portions of the site shall be <br /> sufficiently watered to prevent excessive amounts <br /> of dust. <br /> 3) At all times, fugitive dust emissions shall be controlled <br /> using the following procedures: <br /> a) On-site vehicle speed shall be limited to 15 mph. <br /> b) All areas with vehicle traffic shall be watered <br /> periodically for stabilization of dust emissions. <br />
