Parties. The State Department of Health Services <br /> (Department) issues this Corrective Action Order (Order) to the <br /> United States Navy for the Naval Communication Station, Stockton <br /> (Respondent) . <br /> 1.2 . Site. Respondent generates, handles, treats, stores, <br /> and/or disposes of hazardous waste at the following site: Rough <br /> and Ready Island, Stockton, California (Site) . (Map attached as <br /> Exhibit 1 and 2) . <br /> 1. 3 . Permit/Interim Status. The Department authorized <br /> Respondent to manage hazardous waste by Interim Status Document <br /> issued on November 19 , 1980, and Hazardous Waste Facility Permit <br /> issued on April 16, 1986. The Respondent generates <br /> polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) , waste oils, paint related <br /> wastes, ignitable wastes, spent halogenated solvents, spent <br /> non-halogenated- solvents, - spent toluene and spent methyl ethyl <br /> ketone. <br /> 1 <br />
