SPCC PLAN 0 Stockton Center 21
All the tanks are associated with the truck maintenance facility at the south end of the
property with the two diesel fuel tanks outside and the three oil tanks inside the facility. T
used oil tank is pumped out every thirty days by Evergreen Environmental, Inc.
1.4 DRUM INVENTORY (112.7(a)(3))
The facility utilizes steel 55-gallon drum storage containers for petroleum-based chassis
grease and gear lube. Two drums of each of these chemicals are stored inside the vehicle
Maintenance Shop.
1.5 PAST SPILL EXPERIENCE (112.7(a))
This facility has experienced no oil spill since beginning operations in this facility that was
newly constructed in October of 2002. Petroleum products have been present on the
facility since 2003.
1.6 FACILITY DRAINAGE (112.8(b))
The topography of the site is generally flat. The site has been graded to direct surface
runoff towards on-site drain catch basins. A network of concrete and asphalt swales and
catch basins diverts storm water to the municipal storm sewer. Site grading prevents off-
site storm water from running on site. The Site Plan in Exhibit B depicts site drainage
structures and surface runoff patterns.
The inside of the maintenance building is sloped towards the center of the service bay,
where it drains into a trench before discharging into an oil/water separator. The effluent to
the separator is connected to the municipal sanitary sewer system.
-4-
