SPCC PLAN Stockton Center 21 <br /> equipment. Liquids stored in steel and non-steel 55-gallon drums shall only be moved with <br /> OSHA approved drum dollies or drum handling hand trucks. Employees should always <br /> follow general safety procedures when handling of drums. <br /> Drum Labeling <br /> All drums shall be clearly marked with the product label or secondary labeling to identify <br /> the contents of the drum. Drums used to dilute concentrated chemical products shall <br /> always be marked with secondary labeling and all old labels shall be removed from the <br /> drum. <br /> 4.0 SPILL PREDICTIONS (112.7(b)) <br /> Potential Spill or Release Situations <br /> Proper spill prevention and control measures are employed in all areas of the Martin- <br /> Brower Company building. The five- (5) potential spill or release situations that are <br /> identified at the facility are as follows: <br /> • Filling storage tanks <br /> • Transfer of fuels or lubricants <br /> • Fueling of vehicles <br /> • Tank or container failure or puncture <br /> • Transit Truck Fluids <br /> 4.1 POTENTIAL EQUIPMENT FAILURES (112.7(b)) <br /> Potential equipment failures are primarily associated with the above ground diesel and oil <br /> tanks and may include fueling hose rupture, manifold malfunction, fill line failure. <br /> -12- <br />
