Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or <br /> release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the <br /> environment. Immediately , and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a <br /> statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed by 08/26/2013. <br /> 605 & 601. Witnessed hazardous waste containers were missing required information on the label: <br /> -- Repair Shop Floor: One 55-gallon drum of Oily Solid has no hazardous properties. Corrected on site <br /> -- Repair Shop Floor: One black 55-gallon metal drum of Solid, N.O.S. (lead, Chromium) lacks <br /> hazardous properties and no accumulation start date. <br /> -- Repair Shop Floor: One pan of used oil under the oil filter crusher was not label. Observed oil <br /> disposed to used oil tank adjacent to the oil filter crusher. Reminded generator to drain pans daily. <br /> Corrected on site <br /> -- Race Motor Shop: One 5-gallon bucket of Waste Solvent and one black 55-gallon metal drum of <br /> Waste Oil missing hazardous waste label. <br /> -- Paint Shop: One blue 55-gallon metal drum of Oily Solid has no accumulation start date, and one <br /> black 55-gallon metal drum of Waste Acetone has no hazardous waste label <br /> -- Hobby Shop: One 55-gallon drum of Booth Filters and Sanding Debris has no hazardous properties. <br /> Corrected on site <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Hazardous Waste"; <br /> 2. name and address of generator; <br /> 3. hazardous properties; <br /> 4. physical state; <br /> 5. composition (contents); <br /> 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. With the exception of the wastes referenced above to have been corrected on site, all the <br /> containers are considered to have been on site longer than 90 days.
