Failed to keep containers of hazardous waste closed except when adding or removing waste. <br />There were several containers that did not have a lid to prevent spillage into the environment. Located <br />by the used oil tank, an twenty gallon open container and a 5 gallon open bucket of what appears to be <br />used antifreeze. Located in the truck wash bay are two 20 gallon open containers of waste sludge from <br />the truck wash trenches. Immediately ensure any open container of hazardous waste is kept close to <br />avoid releases to the environment. <br />605. Failed to completely label containers of hazardous waste. Located by the used oil tank, a twenty <br />gallon open container and a 5 gallon open bucket of what appears to be used antifreeze had no lid/ <br />cover to keep the contents from spilling. Located by the used oil tank is a 55 gallon drum 1/3 full of what <br />appears to be used absorbent. Located in the truck wash bay are two 20 gallon open containers of <br />waste sludge from the truck wash trenches. It is unclear what the contents were as there was no label <br />or identification of what the waste was. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the <br />following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste", 2. name and address of generator, 3. hazardous properties <br />4. physical state, 5. composition (contents), 6. accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure all containers are marked with all the required.
