Immediately begin this practice. Submit proof of correction to the EHD. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />403 CCR 66265.173 Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous waste. <br />One 5 -gallon container of oily liquid, located adjacent to the "strong wall drill press" lacked a lid. All hazardous waste <br />containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close this container and <br />ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. Submit proof of correction to <br />the EHD. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />407 CCR 66261.7(f) Contaminated container not marked with date emptied or managed within one year of being emptied. <br />Twenty four empty 55 -gallon containers were observed outside in the hazardous waste storage area. These containers <br />were labeled with the word "empty", however they lacked the date they were emptied. Containers larger than five <br />gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed <br />within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this section. <br />This is a minor violation. <br />601 CCR 66262.34(a) Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br />One 55 -gallon container of "laser dust" and one 55 -gallon container of "waste rags" both located inside the outdoor <br />hazardous waste storage area lacked accumulation start dates. Facilities who generate more than 1000 kg of <br />hazardous waste per month may store waste on site up to 90 days.
