Stockton I October 27. 2015 <br />Item # I Remarks <br />CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or tanks of hazardous waste. <br />1) One 55 -gallon container of "laser dust" and one 55 -gallon container of "waste rags" both located inside the outdoor <br />hazardous waste storage area lacked accumulation start dates. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with <br />the following information: <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />- name and address of generator <br />- hazardous properties <br />- physical state <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since <br />it cannot be determined how long these containers have been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous <br />waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br />2) One 5 -gallon container of oily liquid, located adjacent to the "strong wall drill press" lacked a hazardous waste <br />label. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />- name and address of generator <br />- hazardous properties <br />- physical state <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />Immediately label this container and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information. Since it <br />cannot be determined how long these containers have been on site, immediately contact a licensed hazardous waste <br />hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD. <br />3) One 55 -gallon container of waste coolant, located in the "new tooling area" lacked a hazardous waste label. All <br />hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />- the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />- name and address of generator <br />- hazardous properties <br />- physical state <br />- composition (contents) <br />- accumulation start date <br />Immediately label this container and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required information.
