Setting Up the Hazardous Waste Collection Area, Continued <br />Hazardous StrongPak pick-ups will occur on a periodic basis. These pick-ups are <br />Waste Pick-up prescheduled through CVS Caremark's Environmental, Health and Safety <br />Department. Upon arrival, the properly identified StrongPak technician will <br />contact the Manager -on -Duty to pick up Front Store, Photo, and Pharmacy <br />hazardous waste. You must ensure all full or partially full containers are <br />given to the StrongPak technician. <br />During the StrongPak pick-up, the StrongPak technician will assess the <br />store's compliance with the Program components (e.g. ensure wastes are <br />properly bagged, absorbent is used when necessary, etc). Should the <br />StrongPak technician determine the store is not following the required <br />elements of the Program, the StrongPak technician will communicate these <br />deficiencies to the Manager -on -Duty. In some cases, these deficiencies will <br />also be communicated to the CVS Caremark Environmental, Health and <br />Safety Department. <br />Supplies Supplies needed to manage the hazardous waste collection area can be <br />ordered from StrongPak.
