Hazardous Waste Documentation <br />Overview As part of the California Hazardous Waste Management Program, you are <br />required to retain certain documents and records, listed below. These <br />documents and records must be kept in the EH&S Program Binder. This <br />binder must be accessible at all times. <br />• Weekly Inspection Logs <br />• Hazardous Waste Manifests <br />• Land Disposal Restrictions (LDR) <br />• Regulatory audit documents <br />You may also be required to have available at all times a Hazardous <br />Materials Business Plan (HMBP). <br />Weekly Weekly inspections of the hazardous waste collection containers must be <br />Inspection completed using the "California Weekly Hazardous Waste Inspection Log." <br />Logs The Store Manager must choose a specific day each week for the inspection <br />to be completed. The Store Manager must designate a colleague to be <br />responsible for completing the inspections as well as a designated trained <br />backup colleague. <br />© CVS/pharmacy <br />Blank weekly inspection logs can be found in the EH&S Program Binder. <br />Basic instructions for completing the log are below. However, additional <br />details are provided in the EH&S Program Binder. <br />• Only use pen to complete the log. If you make a mistake, draw a line <br />through it, initial, and date it. Do NOT scribble over the mistake or use <br />correction fluid. <br />• If "NO" is checked for an item on the log, record a description of what <br />was found in the "Observation" column. Corrective action must be <br />taken as soon as possible and you must note the date and all <br />corrective action taken.
