The Phillips Services Corporation (PSC) Program, Continued
PSC Waste Drums of Empty F1 Cartridges
Management
(continued) . Stores with empty F1 cartridges will receive one 55 -gallon poly drum
from PSC. The drum will have a hazardous waste label already
attached and mostly completed. Add the date and ensure the label is
completed properly prior to using the drum. If the drum is delivered
without a label or with a lid that will not close securely, you must call
PSC at 866-617-1766.
• Only empty F1 cartridges are to be placed into this drum.
• Once the drum is full, call PSC at 866-617-1766 to schedule a pick-
up. PSC may pick up the drum prior to service being requested,
depending on the length of time the drum has been at the store. You
must contact PSC to request a pick-up of the drum if the drum is still
in the store 5 months from the date on the label, even if it is not yet
full.
• NOTE: To dispose of F1 cartridges that are not empty, see the
"Expired Photo Chemical Concentrates" section of this training.
All drums must be kept closed, except when adding waste. The drums must
be stored in such a way that the label is visible and the drum can be easily
inspected for leaks or damage. The drums must also be accessible in an
emergency.
For additional questions on the PSC program or assistance with pick-ups,
call Kodak Service and Support at 800-322-5722.
© CVS/pharmacy 7
CONFIDENTIAL BUSINESS INFORMATION
CVS000010420
