Title the <br />index with applicable specification section name and number. <br />(4) Clearly mark each item in the volume with the specification <br />paragraph number to which it pertains. <br />(5) Assemble each volume in the same numerical sequence as <br />specifications section paragraphs. <br />(6) See individual technical sections for additional information. <br />The Contractor shall certify on all submittals that the material being <br />proposed conforms to contract requirements. In the event of any variance, <br />the Contractor shall state specifically which portions vary, and request <br />approval of a substitute. The Contractor shall also certify that all <br />Contractor -furnished equipment can be installed in the allocated spaces. <br />Incomplete submittals and submittals with inadequate data will be rejected. <br />(b) When required, catalog data shall be printed pages on permanent <br />copies of the manufacturer's catalogs. <br />(c) Samples in the number specified shall be shipped prepaid and <br />delivered as directed by the Officer in Charge of Construction. Samples <br />shall be marked to show the name of the material, name of supplier, contract <br />number, segment of work where material represented by sample is to be used, <br />and name of Contractor submitting the sample. <br />1.18 CONTRACTOR'S DAILY REPORT: The Contractor will be required to submit a <br />"Daily Report to Inspector" on the form furnished for this purpose. The form <br />shall be completed daily and delivered to the Officer in Charge of <br />Construction. Data to be reported includes data on workers by classifica- <br />tion, the move -on and move -off of construction equipment furnished by the <br />prime and subcontractor or furnished by the Government, and materials and <br />equipment delivered to the site. <br />1.19 QUANTITY SURVEYS: <br />(a) The Government will make original and final surveys and compute the <br />quantities of work performed or finally in place. <br />(b) The Contractor shall furnish surveys and computations, as necessary, <br />to determine the quantities of work performed or placed during each period <br />for which a progress payment is to be made. Original field notes, <br />computations, and other records for the purpose of layout and progress <br />surveys shall be furnished promptly to the Contracting Officer at the site of <br />the work and will be used by the Contracting Officer to the extent necessary <br />in determining the proper amount of progress payments due the Contractor. <br />The Contractor shall retain a copy of the original notes, computations, and <br />records furnished to the Contracting Officer. Unless waived by the <br />Contracting Officer in each specific case, the Contractor shall make quantity <br />surveys under the direction of the Contracting Officer. <br />
