REPRODUCED AT GOVERNMENT EXPENSE <br />Contractor's own organization and the percentage of the total amount of work <br />to be performed under the contract which this represents. Consider the value <br />of materials as part of the work performed by the Contractor only if the <br />materials are to be installed on the site by the Contractor's own <br />organization. <br />2.4 USE OF SUBCONTRACTOR: The Contractor shall not employ the services of <br />any subcontractor, including transporters and treatment, storage, and <br />disposal facilities (TSDF's), without prior approval of the Contracting <br />Officer. The Contractor,shall provide the Contracting Officer with the name <br />and address of any subcontractor and the terms and conditions of the <br />subcontract. The Government reserves the right to prohibit the Contractor <br />from employing the services of a subcontractor which does not possess the <br />ability to satisfactorily perform in accordance with the provisions of this <br />contract. The use of a subcontractor or subcontractors, does not relieve the <br />Contractor of any requirement set forth in this contract. The Contractor is <br />responsible for insuring that any subcontractor(s) perform in accordance with <br />terms and conditions of this contract. <br />2.5 EXISTING WORK: <br />(a) The removal or altering in any way of existing work shall be carried <br />on in such a manner as to prevent injury or damage to any portion(s) of the <br />existing work which remain(s). <br />(b) All portions of existing work which have been altered in any way <br />during construction operations shall be repaired or replaced in kind in an <br />approved manner to match existing or adjoining work as approved by the <br />Contracting Officer. All work of this nature shall be performed by the <br />Contractor at the Contractor's expense and shall be performed as directed by <br />the Officer in Charge of Construction. At the completion of all operations, <br />existing work shall be left in a condition equal to or better than that which <br />existed before the new work started. <br />2.6 SANITATION: Adequate sanitary conveniences of a type approved for the <br />use of persons employed on the work, shall be constructed, properly secluded <br />from public observation, and maintained by the Contractor in such a manner as <br />shall be required or approved by the OICC. These conveniences shall be <br />maintained at all times without nuisance. Upon completion of the work they <br />shall be removed from the premises, leaving the premises clean and free from <br />nuisance. <br />2.7 PUBLIC RELEASE OF INFORMATION: <br />(a) The Contractor shall not publicly disclose any information concerning <br />any aspect of the materials or services relating to this bid, contract, or <br />purchase order without the prior written approval of the Contracting Officer. <br />(b) The Contractor shall insert the substance of clause "(a)" of this <br />paragraph in each subcontract and purchase order related to the project. <br />
