t <br />REPRODUCED AT GOVERNMENT EEN E . <br />(c) Exact location of spill. <br />(d) Containment procedures initiated. <br />(e) Anticipated clean-up and disposal procedures. <br />(f) Disposal location of spill residue. <br />(g) Whether a personal injury was involved. <br />(h) If assistance is required. <br />(i) The names and telephone numbers of all state and federal officials <br />contacted. <br />(j) A narrative summarizing all on -scene visits made by local, state, or <br />federal officials. <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for prompt resolution and recovery <br />(including cleaning) of Contractor generated spills or other unauthorized <br />discharges of oils, oily substances, chemicals, or hazardous materials. If <br />cleaning or recovery is not acceptable to the Contracting Officer, the <br />Government may clean or recover the discharge at Contractor expense. <br />2.1.3 Fish and Wildlife Resources: Do not disturb fish and wildlife. Do <br />not alter water flows or otherwise significantly disturb the native <br />habitat adjacent to the project and critical to to the survival of fish and <br />wildlife, except as may be indicated or specified. <br />2.2 HISTORICAL AND ARCHEOLOGICAL RESOURCES: Carefully preserve and report <br />immediately to the Contracting Officer items having possible historical or <br />archeological interest which are discovered in the course of work. Protect <br />monuments, markers, and works of art. <br />2.3 EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL MEASURES: <br />2.3.1 Burn -Off: Burn -off of ground cover is not permitted. <br />2.3.2 Temporary Protection of Erodible Soils: Use the following method to <br />prevent erosion and control sedimentation: <br />2.3.2.1 Seeding: Provide new seeding where ground is disturbed. Include <br />topsoil or nutriment during the seeding operaton necessary to reestablish a <br />suitable stand of grass. The seeding operation shall be as specified in <br />Section 2203 113.7 Lawns". <br />2.4 CONTROL AND DISPOSAL OF SOLID AND SANITARY WASTES: Pick up solid wastes <br />and place in containers which are regularly emptied. Do not prepare, cook, <br />or dispose of food prohibited on the project site. Prevent contamination of <br />the site and other areas when handling and disposing wastes. On completion, <br />leave areas clean. Control and dispose of waste. <br />Em <br />
