Install 1 AST 11 Jun 2001 <br />DDJC-Sharpe Site. CA CONTRACT NUMBER <br />DACW05-00-D-0008 <br />representatives left the site at 1200 hrs. Fred Martin and Don Valentine <br />returned to the site after lunch. 1300 hrs. and reviewed the days- events. They <br />left the site at 1330 hrs_ We began backfilling the UST with the pea gravel at <br />1300 hrs_ Backfilling was completed at 1545 hrs_ All sides of the excavation <br />were stable when we left. <br />Subject: Safety Inspections/Meetings: <br />A review of all UST removal procedures was conducted with Geofon employees and <br />subcontractors_ We will not stand underneath the UST. All persons will be <br />directed away from the operations area_ A tag line will be used to guide the <br />UST. The crane will set up away from the noticable trench location west of the <br />excavation. All personnel entering the work area will be dressed properly. <br />Equipment traffic control will be obeyed and observed_ No one will be allowed <br />to stand around the perimeter of the excavation_ All rigging devices will be <br />checked prior to using_ Crane will be inspected prior to using_ <br />3.
