OC NARRATIVE(S)
Subject: General Comments:
Nature Crete arrived on site at 0800. Formwork was completed. Rebar placement
completed. A steady sprinkle began at 0700. Concrete was ordered and final
decision on placement still needs to be made. I received a call from Don
Valentine. He seems to be very concerned with the weather. I stated to Don
that we have not yet made our final decision. I then received a call from Fred
Martin (COR). Fred expressed his deep concern with placement of the concrete.
He strongly suggested that we hold off. I stated to Fred that this will not be
a problem. I directed the subcontractor to cancel the pour. He did, and we
rescheduled placement to Monday.
Subject: Safety Inspections/Meetings:
A brief -meeting was conducted. We reviewed safety rules observed while working
around concrete.
