Contractor Instructions <br /> November 11, 2007 <br /> Page 4 of 6 iota <br /> EP1NtzNZEU LEAK <br /> iota Final ELD Testing <br /> O Scheduling and planning for this test is crucial, make sure you have iota test <br /> schedule date as far in advance as possible and communicate any changes <br /> immediately — to avoid additional costs make sure you're ready for us by making <br /> sure you've completed the items listed on this checklist. With proper preparation, <br /> the Final ELD test can usually be performed in one day. Avoid scheduling <br /> regulatory inspections or other testing contractors on the same date as <br /> your iota final ELD test. <br /> O It is the installation contractor's responsibility to properly notify any and all local <br /> agencies prior to the scheduled final ELD test. <br /> flanks should be ready to receive fuel, backfilled, concrete tank pad poured <br /> O Tanks need to be empty of ballast water and/or product <br /> O Truck connection dry break and adapter in place. <br /> O Vapor extractor fitting should remain in the tank and ball float removed. <br /> O All tank openings capped and trimmed. <br /> O Installer must be onsite and available to make necessary repairs. <br /> O Avoid scheduling regulatory inspections or other testing contractors on <br /> the same date as your iota final ELD test. <br /> Upper tank fittings and equipment installed and ready to receive fuel <br /> O Spill buckets, drop tubes, fill adapters, caps and adapters must be installed and <br /> completed. <br /> O Tank level probe cap and adapter installed with the tank level probe cord in place <br /> from the cord grip on the probe cap to the junction box in the sump. The cover <br /> on this junction box should remain open. <br /> O Electrical junction boxes for the tank level probe and submersible turbine sump <br /> open. <br /> O For dry interstitial tanks iota test setups should be installed into tank secondary <br /> access ports. <br /> Product, vapor and vent piping <br /> O Air pressure on all primary and secondary lines (approximately 50 psi on product <br /> lines, 5 psi on vent and vapor). <br /> O Remove PV valves and cap vent tower risers. <br /> O Jumpers between secondary piping at dispensers on flex piping systems should <br /> be installed. Ideally, a "T" should be installed into each jumper (see <br /> iotaFlexPipe.pdf). ` there is a failure during the final test or at anytime in the <br /> future, the "T" will allow for isolation between dispensers to isolate and locate the <br /> problem without removing dispensers. <br /> 0 Ball valves must be installed at each termination point of the primary piping. <br />
