RHDuplex Service Fittings
Duplex service fittings (available in 2", 4" and 6" NPT) allow the placement of two
service fittings (which sit astride the tank center line) in any standard fitting
location. Dimension "D" is 6" for 2" fittings, or 12" for 4" and 6" fittings.
"D" Boo
1
I I
I 1
Secondarily Contained Service Fittings
Secondarily contained service fittings, typically a 4" NPT within a 6" NPT allow the
tank to be connected to a secondarily contained piping system.
0
b
10
Flanged and conically gusseted nozzles
are available in 2", 4", 6" and 8" diameters.
The flange face matches the ANSI 150#
face pattern. Mating flanges must be flat
faced.
Access Hole
© Fiberglass
Fill tubes are screwed into the bottom of
a 6" x 4" NPT double tapped reducer
bushing which is located in a service fit-
ting. The bottom of the fill tube is located
four inches above the bottom of the tank
with the open end slanted 45°. The top of
the 4" NPT service fitting is closed with a
4" cast iron plug to facilitate shipment and
testing.
jkr.RXES
CORPORATION
LIFiberglass Bottom
Sumps
Bottom sumps provide a basin to trap
contaminant liquids or solids from the
primary tank that are heavier than the
product stored in the tank. The sump
must be located beneath a service fitting
to facilitate pumpout.
4"
"'__
8" I.D.
RBrine Filled Interstice
and FRP Reservoir
The brine filled interstice provides a
positive pressure hydrostatic monitor
system to detect a leak in the primary or
secondary wall of the tank. The reservoir,
incorporating a 4" NPT monitor fitting, is
a permanent part of the tank. With the
exception of the 25,000 and 30,000
gallon tanks, the tank is delivered with
the interstice filled with the brine.
