MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION. <br />PRESENT CONDITIONS REQUIRE THAT ALL PERSONNEL IN <br />(designate specific areas or buildings) EVACUATE <br />(those areas or buildings) IMMEDIATELY. I REPEAT, <br />CONDITIONS REQUIRE THAT ALL PERSONNEL IN (specify <br />-areas or buildings) EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY. SECURE YOUR <br />WORK STATIONS. WALK TO (designated assembly area). <br />I REPEAT, WALK TO (designated assembly area). USE <br />(designated exits). USE (designated exits). MOVE <br />AWAY FROM (the building or facility)- FURTHER <br />1NSTRUCTIONS WILL FOLLOW." <br />This announcement will be repeated at least two times. <br />At the designated safe assembly areas, all employees will be <br />accounted for by their respective supervisors. The public response <br />team will search for any missing persons. <br />burins an evacuation, supervisors will prevent unauthorized entry <br />into the affected area, except public response team members in <br />personal protective equipment. Department Heads and/or Security <br />will aid in employee control. <br />Visitor and patient evacuation will be the responsibility of the <br />Department Head(s), who will follow established procedures in the <br />"Fire -Safety and Disaster Preparedness Manual". <br />While it is not anticipated that areas outside the hospital will be <br />evacuated, the Hazardous Materials Coordinator, Security, and the <br />Department Heads have the authority to restrict traffic and direct <br />pedestrians, motorists and others away from the area during an <br />emergency. <br />Hospital procedures will be followed to conduct any necessary <br />personnel and/or equipment decontamination resulting from <br />emeraencies, <br />
