C� <br />polyethylene coated polypropylene type tyveks, PVC gloves, <br />and chemical resistant safety work boots. Boots and gloves <br />will be taped to the protective clothing. <br />Mrolff��� <br />The tank excavation/decontamination area will be considered <br />an exclusion zone. A decontamination area will be marked and <br />established adjacent to the tank excavation area until the <br />tank is removed off-site. <br />All personnel leaving the exclusion zones must do so through <br />the decontamination area. Unauthorized individuals will be <br />prevented from entering the exclusions zones when activity is <br />ongoing. <br />The boundaries of the active areas within the exclusion zone <br />and the decontamination zone will be established prior to <br />starting work. All individuals within the active areas will <br />comply with the protection levels specified. <br />All employees will be instructed to conduct their work <br />assignments under the "buddy system". No employee will leave <br />line -of -sight from other employees. No workers on site will <br />be assigned to work alone. <br />Only authorized personnel will be allowed to enter the <br />decontamination zone and the exclusion zone. Such entry will <br />be limited to personnel who have demonstrated compliance with <br />the medical and training requirements for the site, and who <br />have the required level of protective equipment. <br />7.0 DECONTAMINATION PROCEDURES <br />Both personnel and the equipment will be decontaminated on <br />site. Equipment will be cleaned in the contamination <br />reduction zone. The decon rinseate will be collected and <br />disposed of with the other materials collected during site <br />activities. <br />Personnel decontamination will occur within the on-site <br />decontamination reduction zone. An equipment drop <br />off/washing area will be marked so that no contaminated <br />clothing is allowed to leave a controlled area. All <br />disposable protective clothing will be collected in the drop <br />off area for subsequent disposal. Hard hats, respirators, <br />and safety glasses will be washed with water and Trisodium <br />
