HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES
Employer maintains a standard of excellence in all we do, and
safety is no exception. With everyone's help and
cooperation, our safety record will also be excellent.
Our desire is to provide all the employees of the Company
with a safe work environment. To achieve this goal, we
require that all employees do their part in helping prevent
accidents by working in a safe manner and by bringing all
safety violations or possible hazards to your supervisor's or
the management's attention.
Here are a few important safety regulations for all of us to
know and follow:
1. Only authorized persons are allowed to operate
equipment and machinery.
2. Wear shoes suitable to protect your feet for the job
you are doing. No open faced shoes or sandals will
be allowed on any job in the field or yard;
exceptions by written permission only.
3. Use your legs for lifting, not your back.
4. Do not ride or stand on the back of trucks, trailers'
tractors or other equipment. USE PASSENGER SEATS
ONLY.
5. Personal protective equipment is required in
designated areas. Such equipment may include, but is
not limited to, respiratory protection, earplugs,
hard hat, rain suit, boots, gloves, and safety
glasses.
6. Any employee under a physician's care and/or taking
prescribed narcotics must notify their supervisor.
7. Eating) drinking) smoking, and chewing gum or tobacco
are allowed only in designated areas.
8. Changes in work practices or work rules shall be
implemented only after approval by project management
and the health and safety officer.
9. Construction equipment always has the right of way
over regular vehicles.
10. All hazardous waste site workers must clean up at the
end of the shift before leaving the site.
