USI will provide from one to sixteen channels system for your specific
applications.*
Standard model unit has audio/visual LED alarms, meter readout ppm or LEL, test
switch, and relay contact. Meter indicator can be calibrated to on-site normal
background characteristics, and a further response from the gasoline (diesel)
vapor leak will activate the alarms. When the alarms are activated by either hydro-
carbon vapors or liquid water leakage, the visual RED LED will turn on, and a 95
dB audio horn will provide a pulsed tone for one minute, shut itself off by a timer,
and activate again 30 minutes later for each cycle. The system provides a relay
contact rated 7A-125 VAC and a test switch for checking the proper function of all
the LED lights, horn and relay contacts.
USI's system has an optional 4-20 mA signal output, which can be interfaced with
the computer for additional applications.
*Please consult USI for a system of more than four channels and the product line
monitoring system.
The
following partial list of
hydrocarbons can be detected by Model GW -6204
detectors.
(1)
Acetaldehyde
(19)
1sopropylalcohol
(2)
Acetone
(20)
Jet -Fuel
(3)
Acrylonitrile
(21)
Methanol
(4)
Alcohol
(22)
Methyl Chloride
(5)
Benzene
(23)
Methyl Ethyl Ketone (M.E.K.)
(6)
Butadiene
(24)
Methylene Chloride
(7)
Butane (iso-)
(25)
Motor Waste Oil
(8)
Carbon Tetra -chloride
(26)
Pentane
(9)
Chloroform
(27)
Perch loroethylene (ddry cTeaning solvent)
(10)
Cyclo Hexane
(28)
Propane
(11)
Diesel Fume
(29)
Stoddard Solvent
(12)
Dimethylamine
(30)
Toluene
(13)
Ethylene
(31)
Trichloro Ethane
(14)
Ethylene Oxide
(32)
Trichloro Ethylene
(15)
Formaldehyde
(33)
Vinyl Chloride
(16)
Gasoline Vapor
(34)
Xylene
(17)
Hexane
(35)
Vinyl Acetate
(18)
Heptane
**Sensor has no response to methane, moisture, COI, CO, Hydrogen, and
Hydrogen Sulfide.
0
