DoubleTr*Flexible Double Containment <br />Important Information Follow All Instructions <br />SECTION 2.0 - LISTINGS and APPROVALS SECTION 4.0—OPERATING TEMPERATURE <br />OmegaFlex DoubleTrac° flexible piping system has both <br />a primary and secondary containment jacket and id <br />listed with UL 971 A/ULC S667-11 under file number MH <br />45578, titled: METALLIC UNDERGROUND FUEL PIPE. <br />DoubleTrac° flexible piping may be used in the following <br />applications. <br />Pressure System Supply Piping <br />Suction System Supply Piping <br />Tank Vent Piping <br />Stage II Vapor Recovery Piping <br />Remote Fill Lines <br />Although DoubleTrac is listed with UL/ULC; these are <br />specific for metallic underground fuel piping. As of the <br />revision date of this Design and Installation Guide, <br />UL/ULC does not offer a listing for double containment <br />piping for aboveground or marina fuel systems. <br />DoubleTrac is designed for above ground and marina <br />installations as the Nylon 12 is extremely durable and <br />is UV stabilized to be exposed to the elements. When <br />requested, OmegaFlex can supply documentation <br />supporting these installations. <br />SECTION 3.0 - PRESSURE RATINGS <br />DoubleTrac® flexible piping and fittings have a <br />minimum five to one safety factor from the maximum <br />rated operating pressure for the primary and <br />secondary pipes. The product media should not <br />exceed the maximum operating pressures indicated for <br />each pipe size shown in Table 1. <br />All DoubleTrac® products are rated for -40°F to +120°F. <br />SECTION 5.0—BEND RADIUS <br />DoubleTrac® flexible piping should never be bent at a <br />radius smaller than the designed bend radius shown in <br />Table 2. <br />Table 2 <br />Pipe Size <br />Minimum Bend Radius <br />SECTION 6.0 - INSPECTION, HANDLING and <br />STORAGE <br />Inspect all piping, fittings and components when they <br />arrive at the job site. Any piping that has been cut, <br />crushed, or otherwise subjected to physical damage <br />during transportation or storage shall be discarded and <br />never used. The piping and fittings shall be handled <br />in such a manner that will not cause any unnecessary <br />damage. Keep all components in the original packaging <br />until ready for use.
