• All individuals must be familiar with emergency communication <br /> methods and how to summon emergency assistance. <br /> • All individuals driving on site must obey the speed limit of 10 miles <br /> per hour. <br /> • Use of alcoholic beverages before or during operations and anywhere <br /> on the property is absolutely forbidden. <br /> • Horseplay of any type is forbidden. <br /> • All unsafe conditions will be immediately reported to the FSO,who <br /> will document such conditions in the field log. The FSO will be <br /> responsible for ensuring that the unsafe condition is corrected as <br /> quickly as possible. <br /> • No smoking, eating,chewing gum or tobacco, taking medication, or <br /> applying cosmetics in the Exclusion Zone. Wash hands and face <br /> thoroughly prior to conducting activities in the Support Zone. <br /> • Smoking,matches, and lighters are only allowed in the designated <br /> smoking area. <br /> • Avoid contact with potentially contaminated substances. Avoid, <br /> whenever possible, kneeling on the ground, or leaning or sitting on <br /> trucks, equipment, or the ground. Do not place equipment on <br /> potentially contaminated surfaces. <br /> • If PPE becomes torn or saturated with contaminated material, <br /> immediately leave the Exclusion Zone, go through the <br /> decontamination steps, and replace the affected PPE. Additionally, <br /> wash any exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water. <br /> • The FSO will be responsible for determining what site work can be <br /> performed safely in the rain and at what point work will cease due to <br /> either quality or safety issues. In the event of thunder and/or <br /> lightning, all work will be suspended until 15 minutes have elapsed <br /> from the last clap of thunder or flash of lightning. During rain, <br /> lightning, and/or thunder events, site workers should seek shelter in <br /> either a building or vehicle.
