• f
i
i
Sample Handling - The groundwater samples will be labeled with the sample identifier, location,
sampler's name, and time and date of sample collection using a black indelible marking pen. The
samples collected will be recorded on a Sample Management/Chain-of-Custody form which tracks the
samples from time of collection to delivery at the analytical Iaboratory. All information recorded on the
Sample Management/Chain-of-Custody form will be entered in ink. Samples will be placed into an ice-
filled cooler and transported to Kiff Analytical for analysis.
i
Decontamination - Drilling and sampling equipment will be decontaminated between borings. I
Drilling equipment will be steam cleaned; sampling equipment will be washed with a solution of
Alconox soap and triple rinsed, with the final rinse consisting of de-ionized water.
Data Management
ATC will perform.quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) checks on the analytical data.. This
will include reviewing the results of QA/QC samples submitted for analyses, and QA/QC checks
performed by the analytical laboratory. Data qualifiers will be added to the analytical data where
necessary.
The data obtained from the chemical analyses will be evaluated to assess the impact of the releases
on groundwater quality.
Reporting
{
ATC will submit, upon completion of each monitoring event, quarterly reports, which will discuss and
interpret the field program and laboratory analytical results. ATC will evaluate the presence or absence
of on-site chemical contamination and make recommendations, as appropriate. The reports will be ,
completed within three weeks after receipt of analytical data. '
The first report will include a description of the well installation procedures, the boring logs, and well
construction details. Each quarterly report will include groundwater elevation contours, laboratory
analytical results, well purge logs; and a summary of field activities.
I
f
1
ATC Associates Inc. 5 75.75125.0001
}
lr
