Select soil <br /> samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Healfli Services (DHS)-certified <br /> laboratory as described in Section 8.0.Laboratory reports forgroundwater analyses,testing methods, <br /> laboratory quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody <br /> documentation will be presented in a report with the findings and recommmdations. <br /> 4.3. HEALTH RISK ASSESSMENT <br /> AGE will retain MECA Consulting Inc. of Pleasant Hill, California o prepare a Health Risk <br /> Assessment (HRA) based on the findings of this and previous investigations performed at the site. <br /> The HRA will be utilized to determine potential human health risks posed by impacted soil at the <br /> site. The HRA will be prepared as directed by the RWQCB and shall fc llow the general guidance <br /> presented in the United States Environmental Protection Agency's Risk Assessment Guidance for <br /> Superfund, Part A: Human Health Evaluation Manual, <br /> 5.0. FIELD INVESTIGATION <br /> To further assess the areas ofpotential concern,AGE proposes to advanc eight probe borings at the <br /> various areas of concern. Selected soil and/or `grab' ground water samples will be collected and <br /> analyzed for chemicals of concern specific to each location. A report of findings will be submitted <br /> to the RWQCB following completion of the field investigation. <br /> 5.1.
