AOC Work Plans
In 2000,Ms. Oz informed AGE that the former UST site was"clean"(AGE, 2001). The tank was
relocated north of the millwork building and is currently in use as an abov ground storage tank
(AST)utilized to receive rinse water for storage pending proper disposal. Kleinfelder(Kleinfelder,
1992)noted the removal and closure of a 6,400-gallon rinse water tank south of the Primer
Department and its reuse as an above-ground rinse water tank. Despite the apparent size
differences,AGE believed these were the same tank(AGE, 2001). As disc assed above,no formal
closure letter has been issued for this UST;however, according to the PHS-EHD,there are no
outstanding issues related to any of the USTs(with the exception of USTs Number 0002 and
0005)..
UST 18820008
This 500-gallon diesel UST formerly located on the east side of the 750,0 -gallon reservoir(Plate
4.1.2),was removed on November 12, 1987. The underlying soil did not c xhibit contaminants. Ms
Oz informed AGE that the former UST site was "clean"(AGE, 2001). As discussed above,no
formal closure letter has been issued for this UST;however, according to a PHS-EHD,there are
no outstanding issues related to any of the USTs(with the exception of UE Ts Number 0002 and
0005).
UST 18820009
This 500-gallon bulk oil UST was removed on November 12, 1987. The i nderlying soil did not
contain detectable contamination. The former UST had been located near the northeast comer of
the Finger Joint/Box Factory building(Plate 4.1.2). Ms. Oz informed AG 3 that the former UST
site was"clean"(AGE, 2001). As discussed above,no formal closure letteT has been issued for this
UST;however, according to the PHS-EHD,there are no outstanding issu related to any of the
USTs(with the exception of USTs Number 0002 and 0005).
Draft
KB61125 workplan-ESC MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc. 20
September 28,2005
