AOC Work Plans
UST 18820014
This UST was believed to have had a capacity of 550 gallons and to have I ieen utilized for the
storage of gasoline southwest of the main office building(Plate 4.1.2). Th UST is believed to
have been removed circa 1979.As discussed above,no formal closure letter has been issued for
this UST;however, according to the PHS-EHD,there are no outstanding ' sues related to any of
the USTs(with the exception of USTs Number 0002 and 0005).
Data Gaps
On the basis of the previous sampling events, previous review of regulatory files by others, and
prior discussions with AMMC and regulatory personnel,it is our opinion 1 here are no data gaps for
soil related to the former USTs,ASTs,or Vaults. With the exception of to nks 0008,0009,0011,
0013,and 0014,sampling information is present that suggests releases haN a not been associated
with tanks or that remedial activities have been completed to sufficiently characterize the tanks.
Although sampling information is not available for tanks 0008,0009,0011,0013,and 0014, it is
our opinion, that based on prior communications with the PHS-EHD,there no outstanding issues
related to these USTs .
Groundwater contamination associated with a release from tanks 1882000 and 18820005
continues to be monitored as part of quarterly groundwater program under the direction of the
PHS-EHD. In March 2005, submitted detailing the results of groundwatei monitoring for the
period between September and December 2004 and recommended that tht UST site be considered
for closure. Response from the regulatory agencies is pending. AFPC rer.iains the responsible
party for this UST site.
Draft
KE61125 workplan-ESC MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc. 23
September 28,2005
