From 1 April to 1 October every year, discharge of an effluent in excess <br /> of the following limits is prohibited : <br /> Daily <br /> Constituent Units Maximum <br /> Copper ug/l 6.5 <br /> Total Chromium ug/l 50 <br /> Hexavalent Chromium ug/l 11 <br /> Arsenic ug/l 10 <br /> Total Dissolved mg/l 500 <br /> Solids <br /> 2. From 1 October to 1 April every year, discharge of effluent in excess of <br /> the following limits is prohibited*: <br /> Daily <br /> Constituent Units Maximum <br /> Copper ug/l 65 <br /> Total Chromium ug/l 50 <br /> Arsenic ug/l 50 <br /> Total Dissolved mg/l 1000 <br /> Solids <br /> * Discharge of effluent at the 1 October to 1 April limits shall only <br /> be allowed when flows in the Stockton Diverting Canal are at least ten <br /> times the discharge volume. <br /> 3. The discharge shall not have a pH less than 6.5 nor greater than 8.5. <br /> 4. The 30-day average daily discharge shall not exceed 0.37 million gallons. <br /> 5. Survival of test fishes in 96-hour bioassays of undiluted effluent shall be <br /> no less than: <br /> Minimum for any one bioassay. . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . .70% <br /> Median for any three of more bioassays. . . . . . .90% <br /> 6. By-pass or overflow of untreated or partially treated contaminated storm- <br /> water or ground water is prohibited . <br /> 7. Discharge of untreated or partially treated contaminated stormwater or <br /> ground water to land is prohibited. <br />
