Chronology Page 3
2801 West Lane, Stockton
07/17/95 Date of the Evaluation of Hydrocarbon Mobility report that discusses the work done on
514/95 and states that TPH-d does not pose a threat to groundwater so remediation is
not warranted.
08/28/95 Date of EHD letter in response to Evalu tion of Hydrocarbon Mobility report dated
7119195 that recommends analysis for chlorinated hydrocarbons and TPH-d.
12/15/95 Date of Proposed Monitoring Program that includes a proposal to test soil and
groundwater samples for TPH-d for 5 years.
03/13/96 Date of the' EHD letter approving the ecommendations noted in the Proposed
Monitoring Program dated 12115195. The live year program would determine if active
remediation was needed or if the site was a candidate for closure.
10/28/96 Date of the EHD letter stating the EHD had agreed to a five year post remedial
monitoring program to allow verification of three assumptions used to justify a no
further action remedial alternative by Dames and Moore which included that ground
water depth would remain below 70 eet bsg, that diesel would not impact
groundwater, and that natural attenuation of the diesel in the soil would occur.
08/03/98 Date of the EHD letter directing submittal of a work plan to conduct additional site
investigation since groundwater had risen from 60 feet (1994) to 37 feet (July 1998).
12114-15/98 Monitoring wells DMW-6 and DMW-7 were installed on these dates.
' I
i
02/04/99 Date of Draft Quarterly Groundwater Monitoring Report that discusses the work done
on 12/14-15198.
07/31/01 Date of Closure Request Report, prepared by URS. No Further Action (NFA)
recommended. Results of a Sensitive Receptor Survey are included in this report.
I
01/30/02 Date of Fourth Quarter 2009 Quarterly Monitoring Report, prepared by URS.
Groundwater sample results revealed detections of 1,2-DCA and no detections of
TPH-d. URS recommends closure.
02/27/02 On this date EHD discussed with URS the need for more work to define the 1,2-DCA
plume.
05/15-16/02 Five push point borings HP-1, 2, 6, 7 and $ ere advanced on this date.
07/22/02 Date of Closure Request Addendum Repot, 9,2-DCA that discussed the work done
on 5/15-16/02 and recommended site closure.
04/16/03 Date of the EHD letter in response to Closure Request Addendum Report, 9,2-DCA
denying URS's request for closure because the 1,2-DCA plume was not defined by
the May 2002 investigation.
03/04/04 Monitoring wells DMW-8 and DMW-9 were 1 istalled.on this date.
