Mr. Arnold Hof -2 - 31 October 2001
viable remedial technologies for sites such as yours with shallow groundwater and primarily
nitrate constituents.
• We agreed that it would not be necessary to prepare a feasibility study for this site, since the
remedial technology is acceptable and the alternatives for groundwater treatment are limited at
the site.
• We requested that you replace MW-6 that was located south of your property and was
destroyed during weed abatement activities. You offered to relocate MW-6 along the
southern boundary of your property. We agreed that that would be satisfactory.
• Ms. Cohen introduced our cost recovery and billing system. We are sending you our
acknowlegement form and documentation under separate cover.
Please provide a report of the fall monitoring well results by 28 December 2001. This report
should include a work plan and schedule for replacing MW-6.
Thank you for pursuing remediation on this site. We look forward to working with you. If you
have y ques ons or omments, you may contact me at (916) 255-3080.
1
AMY RRELL
Private Sites Cleanup Unit
cc: Mr. Mike Infuma, San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Stockton
Mr. Jim Wallace, Environmental Consulting Services, Fair Oaks
