^ CAL FARM SUPPLY • •
- 2 -
originated on the site, and as there are no other underground tank investigations nearby and no
indications of any downgradient tanks, the petroleum products are probably from Cal Farm's
underground tank.
The Board will require that you define the extent of each plume, conduct a feasibility study to
determine the best remedial option for each plume, and then conduct remediation. You will not be
required to complete a human Health Risk Assessment because the water quality standards are based
on protecting human health. The Underground Tank unit requires that quarterly monitoring reports
be submitted until the site is remediated. Information regarding the underground tank requirements
may be found in the three volume Tri-Regional Recommendations, of which you already have a
copy.
Please contact me as soon as possible to make final arrangements for site access on April 17. I can
be reached at (916) 255-3104.
9, "
WENDY WYELS
Ag Regulatory Unit
cc: Ms. Diane Hinson, San Joaquin County Public Health Service, Stockton
