The Certificates of Analysis are presented in Appendix C The analytical tent results of the sail samples collected beneath the 1,000-gallon gasoline UST indicated the presence of gasoline'(3,000 ppm) and diesel (180 ppm) contamination. BTEX concentrations were also elevated in the soil samples collected beneath the 1,000-gallon gasoline tank. The maximum.concentrations.of benzene{16 ppm),toluene(89 ppm), _. e.thyIbenzene:(45 ppm);and xylenes (200 ppm)mere reported in the soil sample at the north end of-the..UST. The analytical chemistry results of sail samples collected beneath the 10,000-gallon diesel UST indicated'a."diesel concentration of 32 ppm near the fill end of the tank BTEX concentrations were not detected in the soils collected beneath the diesel UST. 7.0 SU11AMARY AND CONCLUSIONS A total of four soil samples were collected from beneath the USTs at the Stockton site. One soil sample was collected 2 feet below the tank invert at each end of both USTs. Samples were analyzed for TPH in accordance with EPA method 8015 modified for diesel and EPA method `- 8015 modified for gasoline. In addition, samples were analyzed for BTEX in accordance with EPA method 8020. The analytical results from the soil samples collected under the 1,000-gallon gasoline UST _ indicated the presence of diesel (180 ppm) and gasoline (3,600 ppm). The concentrations of benzene (16 ppm), toluene (89 ppm) ethylbenzene (45 ppm), and xylenes (200 ppm) were reported in the soil sample collected at the north end of the gasoline UST excavation.
