• minimize environmental damage, <br />• minimize property damage, and <br />• restore operations. <br />4.2.1 Response Procedures for Minor Incidents <br />4.2.1.1 Incipient Fire <br />Employees who observe an incipient stage fire or minor explosion will immediately <br />notify Vintage's employees and contractors in the area. Employees and/or contractors <br />will utilize available portable fire protection equipment to extinguish any incipient stage <br />fires. If a fire cannot be controlled with portable equipment, employees should evacuate <br />immediately, secure the scene, and call 911 Area personnel should not attempt to perform <br />"Structural Firefighting." <br />Do not extinguish a gas -fed fire, if the source of gas cannot be controlled. Be aware of <br />potential respiratory hazards such as H2S, etc. <br />After extinguishing incipient fires or observing signs that a minor explosion has occurred, <br />carefully examine the area for equipment damage, spills, or gas leaks and respond <br />accordingly. <br />Report to Vintage's Operations Manager for instructions regarding minor spill clean-up, <br />equipment repair, and resumption of normal operations. <br />4.2.1.2 Minor Gas Release <br />Employees who discover a minor gas release will immediately notify Vintage's <br />employees and contractors in the area. If possible, shut-in the flow at a control valve <br />located a safe distance from the release. Potential hazardous conditions can result from a <br />minor gas release: <br />• Be aware of respiratory hazards resulting from a gas release. <br />• Be alert for ignition sources that could ignite flammable gas vapors. <br />Report to Vintage Operations Manager for instructions regarding equipment repair and <br />resumption of normal operations. <br />4.2.2 Emergency Response Procedures <br />4.2.2.1 Incident Assessment and Notification: <br />A person who recognizes an emergency situation will immediately warn any personnel in <br />the area.
