• phone number you are calling from, <br />• location and nature of the incident, <br />• number and type of injuries, <br />• equipment involved, and <br />• identify any potential threat to public safety. <br />Stay on the line until the 911 or the County dispatch have received all of the information <br />they need then notify Vintage's Emergency Response Coordinator or Designated <br />Alternate. Secure the scene, move to a safe location and wait for emergency responders. <br />4.2.2.2 Emergency Response Activation <br />The Operations Manager/Emergency Response Coordinator or Designated Alternate will <br />initiate the call -out of necessary Vintage personnel and outside mutual aid resources to <br />respond to the situation and will assign task group leaders to carry out critical activities. <br />The Operations Manager/Emergency Response Coordinator or Designated Alternate will <br />assess the incident, provide direction and complete required documentation. <br />Vintage personnel and/or contractors will respond to the scene as needed to establish site <br />security, determine leak or release isolation points and shut-in hazardous sources, as well <br />as eliminate all sources of ignition. <br />For fires beyond the incipient stage, keep all personnel at a safe distance from the fire and <br />wait for the local Fire Department. If Fire Department personnel are not available, let the <br />fire burn itself out. <br />Check for injured personnel and move injured to a safe location, provide basic life <br />support, and request local ambulance service. <br />Advise and assist responding emergency personnel. Advise responding firefighters <br />regarding facility operations, shut-in procedures, etc. Assist law enforcement with <br />evacuation and crowd or traffic control, if requested. Provide MEDS sheets to Emergency <br />Response personnel as requested. <br />Do not attempt to approach a leaking valve, ruptured line, etc. to isolate or control a gas <br />release unless you have received applicable training, are properly equipped, and back-up <br />personnel are on-site. <br />In the event of any emergency involving fire, explosion or gas release, it is the <br />responsibility of Vintage personnel to maintain security. At no time shall unauthorized <br />personnel be allowed on the site of an emergency and any visitors who are on the site at <br />the time of occurrence shall be moved immediately to a safe area. <br />The addresses and contact numbers for local area medical facilities are provided below. <br />
