(Repeat) Labels of two 55 -gallon drums of used oil were not attached to the drums, and label of <br />one 55 -gallon drum of waste anti -freeze was illegible. The label of one of the used oil drums was <br />missing hazardous properties, and label of second used oil drums was missing both hazardous <br />properties and physical state. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following <br />information that is legible: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />2. name and address of generator <br />3. hazardous properties <br />4. physical state <br />5. composition (contents) <br />6. accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br />the required information. Observed generator corrected the labels of the used oil drums and attached to <br />the containers on site; this portion of the violation was corrected. Submit evidence of correction for the <br />waste anti -freeze drum to EHD by 01/10/2014. (Based on interview with generator and disposal <br />records, waste anti -freeze was last disposed on 10/18/2013) <br />610 (Repeat). No label on the 55 -gallon drum of used oil filters. Used oil filters must be stored in a <br />closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start <br />date. Immediately correct this violation, submit evidence of correction to EHD by 01/10/2014 , and <br />ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br />611. The initial date of accumulation of the above-mentioned used oil filters could not be determined. <br />Facilities that generate up to one ton of used oil filters per year may store the filters up to one year. <br />Immediately recycle these filters under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD <br />by 01 /10/2014. <br />999. Electronic submittal requirement on the California Environmental Reporting <br />System (CERS) has not been met since the facility map identifying location of the hazardous material <br />has not been submitted: Facility shall submit electronic information for hazardous materials <br />management system, including hazardous waste, on the CERS website, which can be found on http:.H <br />cers.calepa.ca.gov/.
