Allow for any <br />possible movement after equipment when <br />approaching a blind area, <br />Open Excavations Open excavations will be marked with tape <br />and barricades during working hours and <br />access blocked with fencing during of hours. <br />Care will be taken to prevent anyone from <br />entering an excavation that is over 5'4" in <br />depth without an approved slope on the side <br />of the excavation. <br />Uneven or Slippery Care will be taken when walking around the <br />Walking Areas site. The site will be kept as clean as <br />possible. Sharp objects, boards with nails, <br />bent rebar, etc. will be placed in a non- <br />hazardous location and removed promptly <br />from the site. <br />TraininZ <br />Each employee will be familiar with the requirements of the SSHP and will <br />participate in site activity and safety briefings. There will be an initial site safety <br />meeting and a pre -construction meeting held prior to the start of the field work to <br />thoroughly brief all workers on the work plan, health and safety procedures. A site walk- <br />through will be conducted at that time. In addition, weekly safety meetings will be held. <br />Work Safe Rules <br />All personnel and workers will comply with Wilkey's Engineering's Safety Plan. <br />The following specific restrictions noted in this plan will be enforced. <br />No drinking of alcoholic beverages or drugs will be allowed, or be used by <br />anyone, on or in the vicinity of the work site. <br />2. No salvaging or scavenging. <br />3. No radios. <br />4. Safe vehicle operation. <br />5, Safe traffic control on site. <br />G. Barricades and tape will be used_ <br />7. Safety equipment will be checked. <br />8. Tools will be checked for safety, <br />
