SAFETY PLAN UPON OF CONTAMINATED SOIL <br />B & T recognizes that hydrocarbon -bearing soil may be encountered <br />during the up -coming construction activities at the above referenced <br />facility. In such an event, B & T proposes to leave as much of the <br />contaminated soil in place as is possible. B & T understands that <br />the County may request further assessment of the extent of the <br />contamination, if found, and that remediation of this soil may be <br />required in the future. B & T also understands that some <br />assessment and remediation options may not be possible due to the <br />installation of new equipment. However, well-established <br />technologies for assessing and remediation gasoline bearing soils in <br />place are available and can be utilized at the site if necessary. <br />7.
