WEAVER <br />CONTRACTING u2ZZ XXXXX, CA ccccc <br />• It will be properly stored when not in use, to prevent damage or loss. <br />• It will be kept clean, fully functional and sanitary. <br />Supervisors will ensure workers wear appropriate clothing and PPE. These items will be worn so as not to <br />create additional hazards. <br />All PPE will be selected in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.132. S.J. Weaver Contracting Inc. will <br />provide proper PPE to all employees. All protective clothing will be properly used, stored, selected, <br />and maintained. <br />6.1 Head Protection <br />All personnel shall wear a hard hat that meets the requirements and specifications in ANSI Safety <br />Requirements for Industrial Head Protection Z89.1-1969. Exceptions to this requirement are <br />personnel utilizing eating / break areas. <br />6.2 Hand Protection <br />Outer gloves used on site for remedial activities shall be either petroleum resistant or general purpose. <br />The appropriate outer glove shall be determined for a specific work task. Inner gloves shall always be <br />petroleum resistant, shall be selected using appropriate degradation guides and shall be disposed of <br />as PPE waste. Welder's gloves or any other special types of glove are considered outer gloves and <br />are to worn over inner gloves. <br />6.3 Eye Protection <br />All personnel at the site shall wear eye protection when necessary. All eye protection provided shall <br />be ANSI Z87. 1-1989 approved. <br />6.4 Footwear <br />Footwear shall be sturdy work boots. Petroleum -resistant outer boot covers are to be worn when <br />necessary. <br />6.5 Body Protection <br />The work zones are described above, but in general they are defined as areas that posses and / or <br />has the potential to pose a threat of ignition, flammability, combustion and/or explosion, in general the <br />area atop of exposed tank, piping trenches, dispenser sumps, piping sumps etc. . <br />6.6 Respiratory Protection <br />To control and / or minimize the threat of occupational diseases caused by breathing air contaminated with <br />harmful dusts, fogs, fumes, mists, gases, smokes, sprays, or vapors, respirators shall be provided to all <br />employees, when such equipment is necessary to protect the health of the employee. <br />S.
