EJA CPT Controller Manual <br /> Before installation, select an area that is easily accessible and <br /> allows the door of the controller to open freely. The CPT Controller <br /> requires a 9-in. x 9-in. space on the wall and is 12 inches deep. <br /> Leave about 4 inches below the controller for ventilation and <br /> installation clearance. <br /> Step 1: Mount the interlocking rail (bracket) to a stable vertical <br /> structure such as a wall stud, post, or metal frame. <br /> Step 2: Hang the controller on the interlocking rail (mounting <br /> bracket) as shown in figure 3.1. <br /> p; <br /> o <br /> o o } <br /> FIGURE 3.1 MOUNTING THE CPT CONTROLLER TO THE WALL <br /> Step 3: With the screw provided, anchor the bottom of the <br /> controller to a stable structure such as a wall stud or post. <br /> Step 4: Open the door of the controller and remove the following: <br /> 0 packing material and <br /> 0 cotter pin. <br /> SteR5: Attach the approved electrical conduit (or conduits) to the <br /> bottom of the controller chassis. <br /> Chapter 3:Installation 3-4 ARE260-240 Rev.A ♦ 6/97 <br />
