Removing the Extracta Assembly <br />WARNING! Disconnect, lock out, and tag power at the panel before servicing the pump. <br />When servicing equipment, use non -sparking tools and use caution when removing or installing <br />equipment to avoid generating a spark. <br />1. If a ball valve is installed down line from the pump, close it. <br />2. Unscrew the 5/8 inch bolt and pull the yoke up and rotate it 90° counterclockwise (see Figure 21). <br />3. Remove the protective cover from the Pressurstat. Rotate the adjustment screw counterclockwise to relieve <br />pressure in the packer/manifold assembly. <br />4. Unscrew and remove the four 1/2 inch Extracta retaining bolts. <br />5. Lift the Extracta straight up out of the manifold assembly using the lifting eyes.
