2.0 Notifications Version :27.10.4
NOTE:
. This Appendix C is the Third Party Liability Emergency/Crisis Claims Process Quick
Reference Guide located on the Claims Team webpage under Useful Links, then Crisis
Management.
. This Quick Reference Guide applies to all wholly owned Shell companies and generally to all
companies in which Royal Dutch Shell plc either directly or indirectly has a controlling interest,
including Shell Operated Ventures (SOVs). If questions about this, please contact RICMFP.
. JVs in which Shell participates may call-off the Enterprise Framework Agreement with Crawford
by first signing a Confidentiality Agreement followed by a Purchase Order.
• Only contact Crawford in the event of unavailability of the RICMFP and RICMFP Alternate. The
two key Crawford contacts are listed below:
. US Primary: Terry Turon Tel: +1 (713) 821-0150 Mobile: +1 (713) 502-5927
Email: Terry_Turon@us.crawco.com J
. US Secondary: Beverly Trice, Tel: +1 (404) 300-1203 Mobile: +1 (770) 617-0392
Email: Beverly_Trice@us.crawco.com
. ROW: Wayne Manning Tel: +44(0)2072657169 Mobile: +44(0)7917584038
Email: wayne.manning@crawco.co.uk
Crisis Event
A Crisis is:
'A situation that arises with little or no warning and creates concerns in the minds of stakeholders and
puts our license to operate at risk'. (Refer to the Royal Dutch Shell plc Crisis Management
Standard.) Notification typically occurs early in an incident. See guidance in the Crisis Management
SharePoint Site on how to tell if an incident is a potential crisis. The intent of this requirement is to
minimize the reputational consequences of a crisis by enabling early notification of the Country Chair.
After notification the need for further action, including activating the CMP, can be discussed.
Who should notify?
Given the imperative to make an early assessment of a situation, anyone can notify via their line
manager or direct to the most relevant Country Chair. The recommended path for the decision to
escalate from an emergency incident to a crisis and activate the Crisis Management Team (CMT)
should be made by the Norco Emergency Operation Center Manager and/or Executive (GM) to the
Country Chair.
Shell Supply and Distribution 2-6 Stockton Terminal FRP
©2019 Witt O' Brien's Revision Date:October, 2019
