SaLety P <br /> Electronic Circuit Boards and Capacitors Removal <br /> Step 1. Locate all Electronic Circuit Boards on appliances. <br /> Step 2. Start tear down of appliance, being careful not to damage any components of the Circuit Board. <br /> Step 3. Disconnect all cables that are connected to the Circuit Board. <br /> Step 4. Remove all screws securing Circuit Board to appliance. <br /> Step 5. Carefully remove Circuit Board of appliance and place on specific container. <br /> Step 6. Ones the container is full schedule a Material Drop off to designated facility. (Recycle <br /> Hazardous Material at least ones per year.) <br /> Mercury Thermostats Recovery <br /> Mercury can be found on the thermostats of old and new refrigerators, It is important to recover <br /> all the thermostats containing Mercury do to the possibility of the Mercury contaminating water or <br /> agricultural products. <br /> Removin,q Mercury Thermostats from Stoves & <br /> Refrizerators <br /> Step 1. First you must Identified that the appliance has a mercury thermostat, ones you have <br /> confirmed that it does contained a Mercury Thermostat you must ware the proper safety <br /> equipment before moving forward to the removal of the Thermostat. <br /> Step 2. The equipment you must wear are Goggles, Face Mask, and Gloves. <br /> Step 3. Ones you have all the right equipment you may start disassembling the stove to get the <br /> thermostat out. (Be really careful when taking the thermostat out, making sure you do NOT <br /> BRAKE the coil containing the Mercury). <br /> Step 4. Ones you have safely taken out of the Thermostat Coil the metal wire attached to the <br /> switch and carefully put into the proper container for Thermostats containing Mercury. <br />
