Peters, Jr. —Sr. Director- Environmental, Health & Safety 3.44 Satellite Accumulation Container—Approved Accumulation Container that may be used in a Satellite Accumulation Area. 3.45 SECAT—Safety& Environmental Compliance Action Tool. Enterprise EHS software system utilized for creating Hazardous Waste labels, EHS task tracking, and data storage. 3.46 Small Quantity Generator(SQG)—A Location that generates more than 100 kilograms (220 pounds) per month but less than 1,000 kilograms (2,200 pounds) per month of Hazardous Waste. 3.47 Special Waste—A category of Hazardous Waste designated by certain jurisdictions. 3.48 Standard —One of the EHS policies and procedures that document the fundamental components required of all HD Supply Businesses and associates. 3.49 Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest—Standardized and required document that must accompany a shipment of Hazardous Waste from the time it is initially picked up to its final proper disposal. 3.50 Universal Waste—Commonly found Hazardous Wastes for which there are special laws to encourage recycling and proper disposal when generated in the Workplace. Includes items such as non-leaking batteries and spent, unbroken fluorescent lamps. 3.51 Unplanned Episodic Event—An episodic event that the generator did not plan or reasonably did not expect to occur, including production process upsets, product recalls, accidental spills, or"acts of nature," such as tornado, hurricane, or flood. 3.52 Very Small Quantity Generator(VSQG)-A Location that generates 100 kilograms (220 pounds) or less per month of Hazardous Waste or one (1) kilogram or less per month of Acutely Hazardous Waste. VSQG replaces the term Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator(CESQG)that was previously used to define this Generator Status. CESQG may still be used by some jurisdictions to describe this Generator Status. 3.53 Workplace-Any location whether permanent or temporary where an associate performs any work-related duty. This includes but is not limited to the buildings and surrounding perimeters including parking lots, vehicles, and any other location where company business is conducted. Also included are Company-sponsored social or recreational events and locations. 3.54 Zones— Designated color-coded sections within a Central Accumulation Area where Hazardous Wastes are segregated and stored between pick-ups. 3.54.1 Black Zone—Zone where Flammable and Corrosive wastes are stored. 3.54.2 Red Zone—Zone where Reactive and Toxic Waste is stored. 3.54.3 Yellow Zone—Zone where Non-Hazardous or Non-RCRA Hazardous (State regulated)Waste is stored.
