Enterprise EHS software system <br /> utilized for creating Hazardous Waste labels, EHS task tracking, and data storage. <br /> 3.46 Small Quantity Generator(SQG)—A Location that generates more than 100 kilograms (220 <br /> pounds) per month but less than 1,000 kilograms (2,200 pounds) per month of Hazardous <br /> Waste. <br /> 3.47 Special Waste—A category of Hazardous Waste designated by certain jurisdictions. <br /> 3.48 Standard —One of the EHS policies and procedures that document the fundamental <br /> components required of all HD Supply Businesses and associates. <br /> 3.49 Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest—Standardized and required document that must <br /> accompany a shipment of Hazardous Waste from the time it is initially picked up to its final <br /> proper disposal. <br /> 3.50 Universal Waste—Commonly found Hazardous Wastes for which there are special laws to <br /> encourage recycling and proper disposal when generated in the Workplace. Includes items <br /> such as non-leaking batteries and spent, unbroken fluorescent lamps. <br /> 3.51 Unplanned Episodic Event—An episodic event that the generator did not plan or reasonably <br /> did not expect to occur, including production process upsets, product recalls, accidental <br /> spills, or"acts of nature," such as tornado, hurricane, or flood. <br /> 3.52 Very Small Quantity Generator(VSQG)-A Location that generates 100 kilograms (220 <br /> pounds) or less per month of Hazardous Waste or one (1) kilogram or less per month of <br /> Acutely Hazardous Waste. VSQG replaces the term Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity <br /> Generator(CESQG)that was previously used to define this Generator Status. CESQG may <br /> still be used by some jurisdictions to describe this Generator Status. <br /> 3.53 Workplace-Any location whether permanent or temporary where an associate performs any <br /> work-related duty. This includes but is not limited to the buildings and surrounding perimeters <br /> including parking lots, vehicles, and any other location where company business is <br /> conducted. Also included are Company-sponsored social or recreational events and <br /> locations. <br /> 3.54 Zones— Designated color-coded sections within a Central Accumulation Area where <br /> Hazardous Wastes are segregated and stored between pick-ups. <br /> 3.54.1 Black Zone—Zone where Flammable and Corrosive wastes are stored. <br /> 3.54.2 Red Zone—Zone where Reactive and Toxic Waste is stored. <br /> 3.54.3 Yellow Zone—Zone where Non-Hazardous or Non-RCRA Hazardous (State <br /> regulated)Waste is stored. <br /> Any printed copy of this document is an uncontrolled document.
