Transport all double red bagged infectious waste to the San -I -Pak Sterilizing area. <br />2. Place a iii large autoelcroaHe bags. <br />J. Place autocZavable bags into the sterilizing chamber. Do not use hands to push bags <br />use the metal push plate to push bags into chamber. (If sterilizer is in operation, <br />leave bags in Zarge blue holding bin). <br />4. Puncture red bags with long metal device located at San -I -Pak. <br />5. Close chamber door, turn handle to right until tight. <br />6. Turn key to sterilizer on and push (2) times, sterilization/cycle has begun. At this <br />point you may Zeave-ster-ilization take approx*mteZy 45 minutes. <br />7. If you are running a spare smple, and do not wish for lard to be autoratically <br />cagpacted push sterilization button only once. This will aZZcw you to retrieve the <br />spore sample after sterilization cycle has been empleted. <br />8. You mazy use the carapactor while the sterilizer is in the sterilizing cycle, but during <br />the discharge cycle you cannot carp act regular trash. Them is no danger if you attempt <br />to corrpact during the discharge cycle. (The cycle will only be interyzrpted until <br />carrpactor door is closed). <br />STERILIZATION: <br />91 <br />NOTE: Do not place identifiable body parts, sharp containers and chemtherapy waste in <br />sterilizer.
