Biohazard bag is not placed in a rigid container that is leak resistant, tightly lid, clean, in good repair and appropriately <br />labeled. <br />- Biohazardous waste shall be bagged and placed in a rigid container which is leak resistant, have tightfitting cover, and be <br />kept clean and in good repair. Container shall be labeled with the words "Biohazardous Waste" or "BIOHAZARD" olid <br />and on the sides so as to be visible from any lateral direction. HSC 118280(c) <br />A cart used for transporting bodily fluids in the Outpatient Surgery Center is not labeled on all lateral sides. Submit <br />evidence of correction to the EHD by 411112019. <br />All evidence of corrective actions is due by 4/11/2019. <br />Note <br />Stericycle is the licensed medical waste hauler for the facility for biohazardous-, chemo-, pharmaceutical-, and <br />sharps waste. Waste is picked -up from the facility twice per week. <br />
